Running around a little bit, Ken finally realizes something that he'd almost forgotten. Despite how long he had known his new Sensei in the working business, he was no stranger to giving kindness. Writing up and creating a quick handmade card, he left it outside on top of Alex's scooter.
And so the card reads, "Happy Birthday, Alex-Sensei~! Hope it is a good one!"

A little bit later afterwards, she comes outside to take that scooter for a spin in another world, and as she's clipping on her helmet, she notices the card. "Hm?" She picks it up and opens it, reading the print inside. She smiles fondly and hugs the card, letting out a content sigh. "Thank you, Ken." she chuckles, slipping the card into her pocket and finishing what she had to do before mounting that scooter and driving off~
She walks up to Alex with a box. She sets it down and opens it. She plans to pull the contents out one at a time in a certain order... Oh god here it comes.
"It's your birthday today!
Yes, it's your birthday today!
Don't you dare say 'nay'!
It's your goddamn birthday today!
So celebrate with funny hats and plastic forks
Make sure you don't invite those dorks
To the party you'll be having without them
While they're still studying chem!
