~Daily Prompt--2/3/10~A fragile, pale hand suddenly creeps from the darkness and rests on the freezing bars. Then, the rest of the figure emerges, pressing itself against the bars. A silent giggle escaped her lips as she looked at you from the darkness, her bizarre yet beautiful body trembling in the cold. She couldn't speak, for muteness cursed her throat. Her dead eyes were invisible behind the dusty lenses of the goggles, but they were smiling wearily at you. 'Welcome......' they seemed to say.
She was mute, lonely and deformed. What was once proud, bright and warm had seemed to shatter. Torture has come to town, a dark yet exciting carnival is looking for it's next victem to gobble up.
